Why is there nothing about Covid 19 and Health?

So Covid is still a thing, and I’m still not hearing any drive for information about Covid 19 and health.

It’s all about masks, hand washing, social distancing, and avoiding contact with too many people.

Borders are still closed, travel is limited, parties are discouraged. Even large crowd events are happening without an audience or they aren’t happening at all.

We are also hearing of vaccines on the horizon, hopefully that can save us all.

But what about health?

Where is all the talk and recommendation about Covid 19 and health as a tool for prevention?

Sure, health is not going to get us out of this one right away. But it should at least be part of the plan in the long run right?

I know there aren’t any guarantees that health will actually save us from something like Covid, but does anything else we’re doing have a guarantee?

Does washing your hands and wearing a mask guarantee you won’t be exposed.

Will drugs and a hospital visit guarantee a cure?

Will a vaccine guarantee there will be no other issues?

The answer is no.

There’s never a guarantee.

With anything.

So why not focus on the things that can help strengthen our immune system? Why not improve or ability to protect ourselves if we are exposed to new viruses?

After all, those most affected by Covid 19 so far are those with poor health and nutrient deficiencies.

I’m all for the procedures and options we’re using now, but I think more can be done.

We should focus on exercise, nutrition, vitamins, minerals and boosting our immune systems.

Even the World Health Organization doesn’t say much. They have a little bit about #HealthyAtHome, but it’s more about staying active and not losing your mind while being in isolation.

I’m clearly biased, but I think more can be done to encourage people to be healthy as a preventative measure for diseases and viruses.

That way, when diseases do come our way, the “health care” system won’t have such a burden on its shoulders and we don’t have to be so afraid.
